Earlier today I read this post on my friends blog. It made me laugh out loud and then remember the following situation...
Connor LOVES to snoop around in the cabinets, especially in the bathroom. All of the contact lense cases, q-tips, tampons, eye lash curlers and other random items are SOOOO interesting to him. Any chance he gets an opportunity to be in the bathroom he is all over it. Well, Daddy let him hang out in there with him and somehow Connor got a hold of the toothpaste tube and gave it a good squeeze. Rick gently took it away and as he did I overheard him saying, "No, no...don't squeeze it like that, Mommy doesn't like it when you squeeze it in the middle."
It still makes me laugh to myself because it is SO true! I HATE when the toothpaste is squeezed in the middle and then left like that. If you're gonna squeeze in the middle you had better squeeze from the end when you're all done and even the tube back out!! And please...whatever you do...don't leave the top all crusty!!!!!! It's good to know that we're on the same page in teaching Connor this oh-so-important life skill ;)
