Catching up with Connor

Guess I am not going to be SUPER on top of this blog thing, huh? Since I wasn't at the top of my 'mommy game' before or in the months after Connor arrived I am now going to attempt to do a quick catch up on the little man of our house. (Quick question...are any moms REALLY at at peak mommy performance in those last weeks before or after the baby arrives?!)

Anyway...my first attempt at posting pics...enjoy a monthly glimpse at our growing baby boy!

October 11, 2009 at 10:31 PM Connor David Bittner was welcomed into our family. He weighed in at 8 lbs. 1 oz and was 22 1/4" long. Our first picture as a family of three!!

Two days old and we are getting ready to head for home!

2nd month of life - The words on his shirt were basically true...looking back I really wonder how anyone survives on such little sleep?!!!?

3rd month of life - So observant and curious of everything around him

4th month of life - Smiles...smiles...and more smiles! Although this was one of only a few times that he smiled in the bumbo seat....Connor was not a fan.

5th month of life - Tummy time isn't such a bad thing, especially when you get to be naked after bathtime!!!

6th month of life - Growing so much and such a fun little guy!

7th month of life - Continuing to learn new things...he is a master at sitting up by now :)

8th month of life - LOVES to stand up against his toys and furniture. Mommy & Daddy thought we'd have a walker on our hands sometime soon...Connor had other plans ;)

9th month of life - SUMMER!!! We spent many beautiful afternoons splashing outside in the pool. Connor loves being outside and the water was an added bonus!

10th month of life - A sneak peek from just one of the photo sessions my sister, Mandy, has done with Connor (I'll post others later)

11th month of life - Enjoying one of his other favorite activies; emptying the cupboard, playing with the kitchen items and then moving on to make a new mess ;)

12th month of life - Happy 1st Birthday Connor!!!!! He loved the special birthday balloons! How can you be 1 year old already?!

The little man on a regular day as a 1 year old...drooly, sippy cup in hand and pantsless...this is the life!!!

So, in a very small nutshell, that is the 'catch up' on Connor. He is a sweet little boy and brings us more smiles than we would have ever dreamed for. What a blessing to have this beautiful child in our life!!
